Analysis of Student Metacognitive Relationships with Problem Solving Abilities in Biology Learning

Background: Problem Solving is one of the 21st century skills that must be mastered by students. In biology learning, ability students to solve problems using their metacognitive process information and knowledge problems. This study aims describe relationship between problem-solving abilities in learning class XI science. Methods: method used this research descriptive correlation. The sampling technique Cluster Random Sampling with 52 sample. instrument was a questionnaire for as many 14 statement items Likert Scale an essay test problem solving 6 questions. data analysis carried out help SPSS verse 24 program. Results: hypothesis showed value correlation coefficient R 0.123 > 0.05 which means there no relationship, regression equation Y' = 43.6 + 0.245X indicates positive. . variance (F test) calculated F 0.771 Significant 0.384 it not significant. Conclusions :it can said Ha rejected Ho accepted, significant students' biology. due distance applied related outbreak Covid-19 virus.
